66829 The MAS-D-TEC measures milk's electrical conductivity and gives a simple reading of 1 to 9: readings above 5 indicate high conductivity and are a positive indication of sub clinical mastitis. MAS-D-TEC readings correlate to those of the CMT-California Mastitis Test, but are rendered in a fraction of the time. MAS-D-TEC reads each individual teat, needs no special interpretation of the results and requires no scientific procedure. Simply squirt a sample of milk from the teat into the MAS-D-TEC, press a button and take the reading. The MAS-D-TEC flushes itself after every reading so it is always ready for the next teat. It is ruggedly built for dairy use. MAS-D-TEC can be used prior to teat dipping with minimal additional time required.
